getting started

What's this about ?
this blog shows .lrc-contributed tracks

What's .lrc ?
.lrc is a simple textfile (.txt) which is time-tagged. for example:
.txt-file:
hello
world
.lrc-file:
[0:00:01]hello
[0:00:21]world

How can I watch those files ?
Minilyrics makes it possible to display those files during play.

Where can I get this ?
visit Minilyrics Homepage: http://www.minilyrics.com/

How can I create those files ?
you could create the .lrc-files with a simple ascii-editor - but there are tools to make that easier (LRC-Editors). Creator of this blog uses 'LRC-Editor 4.0' but there was just this download address for LyricsFX, where 'LRC-Editor 4.0' is included.

Why this blog?
basically it's meant to list most active .lrc-contributors for Minilyrics.
additionally there are direct links to the files.

Do I have to download those files manually ?
Definitely NOT!
Minilyrics can download those files and associate them to your media automatically, if you like it to do that.

What does [x] mean ?
this signs, that the .lrc-file was checked and should be downloadable for you

What does [nfm] mean ?
if .lrc-contributions are not from the person which posted, it's signed 'not from me'(=nfm).

Why the 'useful Links' part ?
there should be three entries:
1st: The artists official website
2nd: The artists products @ amazon.de for purchasing
3rd: The artists overview @ Yahoo! Launch

How can I support this project ?
There are several ways:
1.) click on any link to amazon on this site and purchase any product afterwards.
2.) join this blog through contacting me.
3.) link this blog on your Webby or mail it to a friend.

got something else to do with your life ?
ya. quite sure. but that doesn't belong here ;)
